Todd Coutee

Luby's Fuddruckers
COO
Todd has been in the hospitality and restaurant business for thirty-one years. He began his career at Luby’s Cafeteria in 1989 as an assistant manager and then became an instructor at the training school, preparing fellow managers for successful cafeteria operations. After spending ten years with Luby’s in operations and training, Todd left to work in contract food service for seven years, most notably as Executive Director of Operations for Aramark’s Educational Food Service Division. It was during that time that he learned all facets of contracts, franchising and various operational practices based on types of locations. With that knowledge, he re-joined Luby’s in 2006 as an Area Leader for the cafeteria segment. He was then promoted to Vice President of Operations for the new contract division, Luby’s Culinary Services. Leading and growing the new brand for the subsequent four years, sales reached fifty million dollars. Todd was then promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations in May 2011. He brings extensive experience, skill and understanding to all facets of daily cafeteria, restaurant and contract operations. He credits his success to being a servant leader, passion for people and the invaluable knowledge he gained from the many colleagues who have taught and inspired him over the years. Todd holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Louisiana State University where he played center and was team captain for the Tiger football team. Away from the office, he enjoys reading, hunting and fishing. Todd and his wife Myra have been married thirty-one years and have two children and two grandchildren.
